Al Qasba, Sharjah’s premier leisure destination, marked the New Year with awe-inspiring fireworks that illuminated the surrounding premises and the water canal, creating a glittering spectacle to remember.

People from all ages and nationalities flocked to Al Qasba’s cafes and restaurants on the New Year’s eve to share the last few hours of 2013 with family and friends and to watch the firework show, which has become Al Qasba New Year’s tradition. 

As the clock struck 12:00 midnight, a spectacular fireworks display was launched skyward to light up the night sky with breathtaking colours and patterns. The people who thronged Al Qasba’s walkways cheered and wished each other a Happy New Year.
