If you’re looking for somewhere to get an upbeat start to the new year, then look no further, Al Qasba is the place to be.

Starting 8:30pm on New Year’s Eve, Al Qasba will get pulses racing with a performance of African drumming at the foot of the Eye of the Emirates wheel. And to make the evening even more festive, visitors will be able to join the fun, with two interactive drumming sessions scheduled to take place at 9:00pm and 10:00pm. Adding to the celebratory mood, stilt walkers will be making their way among the crowds to keep the young and old entertained, where visitors can also look forward to a magical performance of the musical fountain at 10:40pm.

The evening will come to a crescendo, with Al Qasba’s outdoor screen where everyone can join the countdown to 2015 followed by the sounds of African rhythms as the energetic performers drum in the new year.
